2. Safety Information
- Do not expose the main unit or sensor to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or moisture.
- Use only the specified power adapter (DC 4.5V/150mA) for the main unit.
- Ensure correct battery polarity when inserting batteries into both the main unit and the sensor.
- Keep batteries out of reach of children. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.

The SENCOR SWS 4250 Weather Station features a color LCD display for clear visibility of weather forecasts, indoor/outdoor temperature, humidity, time, and date. It supports up to three wireless outdoor sensors, with one included.

5. Setup
5.1. Kuiswa kwebhatiri
- Main Unit: Open the battery compartment on the back. Insert 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
- Kunze Sensor: Open the battery compartment. Insert 2 x 1.5V AA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
5.2. Kupa Simba Chikwata Chikuru
Connect the provided DC 4.5V/150mA power adapter to the main unit's power input and then plug it into a wall outlet. The display will illuminate.
5.3. Sensor Placement and Synchronization
Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location away from direct sunlight and rain, ensuring it is within 30 meters (open area) of the main unit. The main unit will automatically attempt to synchronize with the sensor. This may take a few minutes. Once connected, the outdoor temperature and humidity will appear on the display.
5.4. Mounting Options
- Tabletop: Use the integrated stand on the back of the main unit to place it on a flat surface.
- Wall Mount: Use the hanging hole on the back of the main unit to mount it on a wall using a screw (not included).
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Ratidza Ruzivo
The color LCD display shows the following information:
- Weather forecast icons (sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rain)

6.2. Time and Date Settings
The weather station automatically receives the DCF77 radio signal for accurate time and date synchronization. If the signal is not available or you prefer manual setting:

Press the ° C / ° F button (location may vary) to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature display.
6.4. Managing Additional Sensors
The SWS 4250 supports up to three outdoor sensors. To add additional sensors (purchased separately):
- Install batteries in the new sensor.
- On the main unit, press the CHANNEL button to cycle through available sensor channels.
- The main unit will automatically search for and connect to new sensors on an unused channel.
