2. Chigadzirwa Pamusoroview
The GASTROBACK #42440 is a versatile 2-in-1 appliance functioning as both an automatic tea maker and a kettle. It features precise temperature control and programmable settings for various tea types.

3. Setup uye Kutanga Kushandisa
3.1 Kusunungura

Before first use, clean the kettle and tea filter:
- Wash the glass kettle, lid, and stainless steel tea filter with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.

- Perform a trial run by filling the kettle with water to the MAX line and boiling it. Discard the water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
3.3 Gungano
- Place the power base on a dry, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure the tea filter is correctly assembled and inserted into the lid.
- Place the lid with the tea filter onto the glass kettle.
- Place the assembled kettle onto the power base.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Mvura Inofashaira
- Fill the glass kettle with the desired amount of fresh water (between MIN and MAX marks).
- Isa kettle pachigadziko chemagetsi.
- Press the MVURA button. The appliance will heat the water to 100°C.
- Once boiling is complete, the appliance will beep and switch off automatically.
4.2 Preparing Tea
- Fill the glass kettle with fresh water to the desired level.
- Open the lid and add your preferred loose leaf tea into the stainless steel tea filter. Close the lid securely.
- Isa kettle pachigadziko chemagetsi.
- Press the TEA button. The default tea program (e.g., Green Tea) will be displayed.
- Shandisa iyo TEA button repeatedly to cycle through the 5 pre-set tea programs:
- Green Tea
- Black Tea
- Oolong Tea
- White Tea
- Herbal Tea
- To adjust temperature or brewing time for the selected program, press the TEMP/NGUVA bhatani, wobva washandisa iyo + or - mabhatani.
- Temperature is adjustable from 50°C to 100°C in 5°C increments.
- Brewing time is adjustable according to tea type.
- Press AUTO STEEP to begin the brewing process. The tea filter will automatically lower into the hot water.
- Once brewing is complete, the tea filter will automatically raise, and the appliance will beep.

4.3 Custom and Favorite Programs
The appliance allows for 4 individually programmable tea settings:
- Select a tea program using the TEA bhatani.
- Adjust the desired temperature and brewing time using the TEMP/NGUVA uye +/- mabhatani.
- Dzvanya uye ubate iyo FAV./CUS. button to save the current settings as a custom program.
- To recall a custom program, press the FAV./CUS. button repeatedly until your desired program is displayed.
4.4 Chengetedza Basa Rinodziya
After brewing, the appliance can keep your tea warm:
- Press the RAMBA UCHIDZIYA button after brewing is complete.
- The keep warm time is adjustable (15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes). Use the +/- buttons to select the duration.
4.5 24-Hour Timer (Delayed Start)
To program the appliance to start brewing at a later time:
- Prepare the kettle with water and tea as described in section 4.2.
- Select your desired tea program, temperature, and brewing time.
- Press the UTO KUTANGA bhatani.
- Shandisa iyo +/- buttons to set the desired delay time (up to 24 hours).
- Confirm the setting. The appliance will start brewing automatically after the set delay.

5.2 Kudzikisira
Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up over time, affecting performance. Descale regularly, especially in hard water areas.
- Fill the kettle with a mixture of water and white vinegar (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water) or a commercial descaling solution according to product instructions.
- Heat the solution to boiling point using the MVURA basa.
- Allow the solution to soak for 15-30 minutes (or as recommended by the descaling product).
- Pour out the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly several times with fresh water.
- Perform a trial boil with fresh water and discard to ensure all descaling residue is removed.
