1. Charging the Polaroid Lab
Before first use, ensure your Polaroid Lab is fully charged. Connect the included USB charging cable to the charging port on the device and to a USB power adapter (not included). The LED indicators on the front will show charging status. A full charge is indicated when all LEDs are solid green.
2. Downloading the Polaroid Originals App
The Polaroid Lab requires the Polaroid Originals app to function. Download the app from your smartphone's app store (Apple App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android). Ensure your phone meets the compatibility requirements:
- iPhone: 6 and newer (excluding SE) with iOS 11.4 or higher.
- Android: Most popular Android phones with screen width higher than 330 DP and Android 7 or newer.

3. Kurodha Firimu
The Polaroid Lab uses I-Type and 600 film. Film is not included and must be purchased separately. To load film:
- Open the film door on the front of the Polaroid Lab.
- Insert a new film pack with the darkslide facing up and the film cartridge fully pushed in.
- Close the film door. The darkslide will automatically eject. Do not pull the darkslide out manually.
- The LED indicators will show the remaining film count.

Operating Instruction
1. Connecting Your Phone
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. Open the Polaroid Originals app. The app will guide you through connecting to your Polaroid Lab. Once connected, the app will display the Lab's status.
2. Selecting and Preparing Your Photo
Within the app, select the photo you wish to print from your phone's gallery. The app allows you to crop, adjust, and prepare your image for optimal printing. You can also create collages or add augmented reality features.

3. Printing a Photo
Once your photo is prepared in the app, place your smartphone face down on the Polaroid Lab's platform, aligning it correctly. The app will indicate when the phone is positioned correctly. Press the red button on the Polaroid Lab to initiate the printing process. The image from your phone screen will be projected onto the film inside the Lab.

After the exposure, the print will eject from the front slot. Allow the print to develop in a dark place, face down, for the recommended development time (typically 10-15 minutes for color film, longer for black and white).
4. Advanced Features (via App)
- Collage Mode: Combine multiple digital images into a single Polaroid print. The app guides you through arranging your photos into a collage layout.
- Augmented Reality (AR): Embed short video clips into your prints. When viewed through the Polaroid Originals app, the static print comes to life with the embedded video.

Maintenance

The Polaroid Lab has internal rollers that spread the developer paste onto the film. Over time, these rollers can accumulate residue, affecting print quality. To clean them:
