2. Setup
2.1 Kuchaja Bhatiri
The radio comes with a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Before first use, fully charge the radio.
- Connect the small end of the provided USB charging cable to the USB charging jack on the side of the radio.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Simba On/Kudzima
- To turn on the radio, long press the SIMBA button for approximately 1 second. The LCD screen will illuminate and display the current frequency.
- To turn off the radio, long press the SIMBA button again for approximately 1 second.

3.2 Tuning Stations (AM/FM)
- Switching Bands: Short Press the KUSKENHA KWEAM/FM bhatani rekuchinja pakati pemabhendi eAM neFM.
- Chinyorwa Kugadziridza: Short Press the TUNER +/- buttons to manually adjust the frequency step by step.
- Automatic Scan: Long press the TUNER +/- buttons for 1 second to automatically search for the next available effective station. The radio will stop and play the signal broadcast once found.
- Auto Scan and Store: Long press the KUSKENHA KWEAM/FM button for 1 second to initiate an automatic scan and storage function. The radio will scan through all available frequencies and save them to memory.
3.3 Kudzora Inzwi
- Short Press the VOLUME +/- buttons to increase or decrease the volume level by one step.
- Long press the VOLUME +/- buttons to quickly increase or decrease the volume. The highest volume level is 31, and the lowest is 0.
3.4 Kukiya Basa
The lock function prevents accidental button presses, which is useful when carrying the radio in a pocket or bag.
- To activate the lock function, long press the M- button for 1 second. A lock key symbol will appear on the LCD display, indicating that all button functions have been locked.
- To deactivate the lock function, long press the M- button again for 1 second. The lock key symbol will disappear, and the buttons will be functional again.
3.5 Mute Basa
- To mute the audio, short press the SIMBA button. A mute symbol will appear on the right side of the LCD.
- To unmute the audio, short press the SIMBA button again. The mute symbol will disappear.
