• Adjustable Spikes
• Floor Protection Discs (for use with spikes on hard surfaces)

1. Batanidza Plate Yepasi: Securely fasten the substantial steel base plate to the bottom of the aluminum center column using the provided hardware. Ensure all screws are tightened to prevent wobbling.
2. Batanidza Pamusoro Plate: Connect the steel top plate to the top of the aluminum center column. The top plates feature pre-drilled hole patterns designed to match compatible ELAC speakers (Navis, Carina, Vela) for secure mounting. Align the holes and fasten the top plate firmly.
3. Install Spikes/Discs: Thread the adjustable spikes into the designated inserts on the base plate. If placing the stands on carpet, use the spikes directly. For hard floors (wood, tile, etc.), place the floor protection discs under each spike to prevent damage and improve stability. Adjust the spikes to level the stand.

Optional Damping Material

The center column of the LS80 stands is designed to be fillable. You may choose to fill it with materials such as sand, lead shot, or other suitable damping materials to add further mass and reduce resonance. This can enhance the acoustic performance of your speakers by providing an even more stable and inert platform.

• Leveling: Use the adjustable spikes at the base to ensure the stand is perfectly level on your floor. A level stand provides maximum stability and helps prevent unwanted vibrations.
• Floor Type: For carpeted floors, the spikes should penetrate the carpet to rest on the subfloor, providing a firm foundation. For hard floors, always use the provided floor protection discs under the spikes to protect the surface and maintain stability.
• Cable Management: Route speaker cables neatly to avoid tripping hazards and maintain a clean aesthetic. The stand's design may allow for some cable concealment within or alongside the column.
