The VideoMic NTG has an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Before first use, fully charge the microphone.

  1. Connect the supplied USB-C to USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the microphone.

The VideoMic NTG comes with an SM7-R camera mount, which features a Rycote Lyre suspension system to minimize handling noise.

  1. Slide the cold shoe mount of the SM7-R into your camera's hot shoe or a compatible accessory mount.
  2. Tighten the locking wheel on the SM7-R to secure it in place.
  3. Ensure the microphone is firmly seated in the Rycote Lyre suspension.
