3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Attaching to a Scuba Tank

  1. Place the BCD on a flat surface with the backplate facing up.
  2. Position the scuba tank onto the BCD's backplate, ensuring the tank valve aligns with the BCD's tank band.
  3. Secure the tank band tightly around the tank. Ensure the tank is stable and does not wobble.
  4. Connect the low-pressure inflator hose from your regulator first stage to the BCD's inflator mechanism.

The Cressi Patrol BCD features an adjustable harness system for a secure and comfortable fit.

3.3 Loading Weight Pockets

The Flat-Lock-Aid integrated weight system allows for easy loading and release of weights.

  1. Insert soft or hard weights into the designated weight pockets. The pockets can hold up to 4.5 kg (approximately 10 lbs) each.
  2. Ensure the weight pockets are fully inserted and securely locked into place. A distinct click or visual confirmation should indicate proper engagement.
  3. Distribute weights evenly between the left and right pockets for balanced trim.
