2. Safety Information

4. Setup uye Kuiswa
The BWT P'URE AQUACALCIUM system is designed for under-sink installation. Follow these general steps for setup:
- Kugadzirira: Turn off the cold water supply to your sink. Clear the area under the sink for installation.
- Faucet Kuisirwa: Drill a hole in your sink or countertop (if not already present) for the dedicated faucet. Secure the faucet according to its specific instructions.
- Kubatanidza Kwekupa Mvura: Install the saddle valve onto the cold water line and connect it to the RO system's inlet.
- Dhonza Kubatanidza: Install the drain saddle onto the sink's drainpipe and connect it to the RO system's drain line.
- Tank Connection: Connect the storage tank to the RO system.
- System Flushing: After all connections are made, slowly turn on the cold water supply. Allow the system to fill and flush for several hours (refer to detailed instructions for specific flushing times) to remove air and carbon fines.
- Leak Tarisa: Carefully inspect all connections for leaks.

5. Operating Instructions
Once installed and flushed, your BWT P'URE AQUACALCIUM system operates automatically. The system purifies water using reverse osmosis and stores it in the pressure tank. When you open the dedicated faucet, purified water is dispensed.
- Kutanga Kushandisa: After initial flushing, the first tank of water should be drained completely to ensure optimal taste and performance.
- Daily Filtration Capacity: The system can filter up to 280 liters per day, depending on water pressure and temperature.
- Kugovera Mvura: Open the dedicated faucet to draw purified water. The flow rate will decrease as the tank empties.
- Tangi Refill: The system will automatically refill the storage tank once water is drawn.

Regular maintenance is crucial for the optimal performance and longevity of your BWT P'URE AQUACALCIUM system.
Cartridge Replacement:
The system does not feature an automatic cartridge wear indicator. Therefore, it is essential to adhere to a regular replacement schedule for the pre-filters, RO membrane, and remineralizing cartridge.
- Pre-filters (Sediment and Carbon): Replace every 6-12 months, depending on water quality and usage.
- RO Membrane: Replace every 2-3 years, or when water production significantly decreases.
- Remineralizing Cartridge: Replace annually to ensure continued remineralization and optimal taste.
