Before first use, the lawn mower requires some assembly.
3.1 Handlebar Assembly
- Attach the lower handlebar sections to the mower body using the provided bolts and knobs. Ensure they are securely fastened.

4. Operating Instructions

- Connect the mower's power cable to a suitable outdoor extension cord, ensuring the extension cord is rated for outdoor use and the correct voltage (230V / 50Hz).
- Plug the extension cord into a grounded power outlet.
- To start, press the safety button (usually red) and simultaneously pull the operating lever towards the handlebar. Release the safety button once the motor starts.
- To stop, release the operating lever. The blade will stop rotating within a few seconds.

The mower features a central cutting height adjustment with 7 positions, ranging from 20 mm to 75 mm.
- Ensure the mower is switched off and disconnected from the power supply.

4.3 Mulching Function
The TEXAS Smart 4400 includes a mulching function. To activate mulching, remove the grass catcher and insert the mulching plug (if provided) into the discharge chute. This will recirculate the grass clippings under the cutting deck, finely chopping them and returning them to the lawn as natural fertilizer.
