Setup Guide

1. Charging Your Kindle Paperwhite

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your Kindle Paperwhite. Use the included USB-C charging cable.

Connect the USB-C cable to the charging port on your Kindle Paperwhite.
Connect the other end of the cable to a computer's USB port or a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
A full charge takes approximately 5 hours when connected to a computer via USB, or less than 2.5 hours with a 9W USB power adapter.

2. Powering On uye Initial Setup

Once charged, press and hold the power button located on the bottom edge of the device until the screen turns on.

Follow the on-screen instructions to select your preferred language.
Connect to a Wi-Fi network. The Kindle Paperwhite supports 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz networks with WEP, WPA, and WPA2 security.
