  2. Install Throttle Handle: Slide the tube-mounted throttle handle onto the main blower tube. Position it for comfortable operation and tighten securely.

4. Fuel and Starting Procedures

Mafuta anodiwa:

This unit is powered by a 2-stroke engine and requires a mixture of gasoline and 2-stroke engine oil. Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 89 or higher. Mix with ECHO-approved 2-stroke oil at a 50:1 ratio (50 parts gasoline to 1 part oil).

The air filter is crucial for engine protection. Access the air filter cover (tool-less design), remove the filter, and clean it with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reinstallation. Replace if damaged or excessively dirty.

Remove the spark plug using a spark plug wrench. Inspect for carbon buildup or wear. Clean or replace as necessary. Ensure the correct gap is maintained (refer to the specifications section).

The fuel filter is located inside the fuel tank. Periodically check for debris and replace if clogged. Use a hook or wire to carefully retrieve the filter from the tank.

Before storing the blower for an extended period, drain the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops to clear the carburetor. Clean the unit thoroughly and store in a dry, well-ventilated area, out of reach of children.
