4. Setup

4.2 Optional Rubber Risers
For users who prefer a slight incline, two rubber risers are included. These can be attached to the bottom rear of the keyboard to elevate the typing angle.
5. Operating Instructions

The keyboard features a full QWERTY layout with an extended numeric keypad, providing a familiar typing experience.

5.2 Backlight Kugadziriswa
The keyboard features adjustable backlighting with three brightness levels. Use the dedicated keys to control the illumination:
- Deredza Kupenya: Press the F1 key.
- Wedzera Kupenya: Press the F2 key.

5.3 Function Keys and Multimedia Controls
The top row of keys (F1-F12) serves dual purposes: standard function keys and macOS-specific multimedia controls. By default, these keys operate as multimedia controls.
- F1: Decrease Backlight
- F2: Wedzera Backlight
- F3: Spotlight Search
- F4: App switchcher
- F7: Previous Track
- F8: Tamba/Misa
- F9: Next Track
- F10: Nyarara Vhoriyamu
- F11: Deredza Inzwi
- F12: Wedzera Inzwi
- Eject Key: No function on modern macOS devices.

5.4 Fn Lock Functionality
To toggle between multimedia controls and standard F-key functions (F1, F2, etc.), press Fn + Esc simultaneously. The keyboard will retain this setting until the USB-C connection is removed or the computer is restarted.
