Pre-Instalation Matanho:

- Prepare Wall Openings: Ensure the wall openings for the spout and handle are correctly spaced at 8 inches center-to-center.
- Install Valve Body (Rough-in): Follow the rough-in instructions provided with the valve body (if separate) to install it within the wall. Ensure it is level and securely fastened.
- Batanidza Mitsetse Yemvura: Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the appropriate inlets on the valve body. Use thread seal tape on all threaded connections and tighten securely with a wrench.
- Install Spout Assembly: Insert the spout assembly into its designated wall opening. Apply a bead of silicone sealant around the base of the escutcheon plate before securing it to the wall. Connect the spout to the valve body outlet.
- Install Handle Assembly: Insert the handle assembly into its designated wall opening. Secure the escutcheon plate to the wall, applying sealant as needed. Attach the handle lever to the valve stem according to the specific design.
- Test for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply. Check all connections for leaks. If leaks are detected, turn off the water, tighten the connections, and re-test.
- Flush Faucet: Once installation is complete and no leaks are present, remove the aerator from the spout. Turn on the faucet to full hot and full cold for one minute each to flush out any debris from the water lines. Turn off the faucet, re-install the aerator.
Operation
The Fortis Scala 842080C faucet features a single lever handle for controlling both water flow and temperature.
