The wand is equipped with a safety protective switch that automatically turns off the UV-C light if it is accidentally turned upward towards the eyes. The device also automatically turns off after 5 minutes of continuous use as a safety precaution.

3. Setup
3.1 Kuchaja Chishandiso
The UV-C wand includes a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery. Before first use, fully charge the device.
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the wand's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a Class 2, 5VDC, 2.0A USB charger (not included).
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. Allow sufficient time for a full charge.

After charging, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn the device on.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Kubatidza/Kudzima

4.2 Using the Wand
For effective use, follow these guidelines:
- Ensure the wand is fully charged.
- Turn on the wand by pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds.
- Hold the wand approximately 1 to 2 inches from the surface you wish to treat.
- Slowly wave the wand over the target area for 30 seconds for each 1 inch x 8.5 inch section.
- The wand will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of continuous use. If additional use is required, simply restart the device.
- The orientation sensor will automatically shut off the UV-C light if the wand is flipped 90 degrees upwards, preventing accidental eye exposure.
Recommended uses include door knobs, handles, kitchen surfaces, work surfaces, keypads, and phones.

5. Kuchengeta
5.1 Kuchenesa
To clean the wand, gently wipe the exterior with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or immerse the device in water.
5.2 Kuchengeta Battery
To prolong battery life, recharge the device regularly, especially if it has not been used for an extended period. Avoid fully depleting the battery before recharging.
