4. Setup

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Temperature Measurement

- With the device powered on, press and hold the Backlight / Laser Bhatani for approximately 2-3 seconds.
- The unit displayed on the LCD will change.

Emissivity (E) is a measure of an object's ability to emit infrared energy. Different materials have different emissivity values. For accurate temperature readings, it is important to adjust the thermometer's emissivity setting to match the target material. The INK-IFT03 has an adjustable emissivity range of 0.1 to 1.0.
