Setup Guide
- Isa MicroSD Kadhi: Locate the microSD card slot (usually under a rubber flap) and insert a compatible microSD card (up to 512GB for continuous recording).
- Power On: Connect the 6' Micro USB Cable to the camera and the Power Adapter, then plug the adapter into a power outlet. The camera's status light will illuminate.
- Download Wyze App: Download the latest version of the Wyze app from your device's app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play for Android).
- Wedzera Mudziyo: Open the Wyze app, tap the "+" sign in the top right corner, select "Add Device," then "Cameras," and choose "Wyze Cam Pan v2."
- Batanidza kuWi-Fi: Follow the in-app instructions to connect your camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is near the camera during this process.
- Firmware Dzokorora: The app may prompt you to update the camera's firmware. It is recommended to perform this update to ensure optimal performance and access to the latest features.
Installation
The WYZE Cam Pan v2 is designed for versatile placement. It can be simply placed on a flat surface indoors, such as a shelf or table. For more permanent installations, a mounting plate/bracket and screws are included.
- Indoor Placement: Place the camera on any flat surface with a clear view yenzvimbo inodiwa yekutarisa.
- Kukwirisa madziro/Ceiling: Use the included mounting bracket and screws to secure the camera to a wall or ceiling. The camera's base is adjustable, allowing you to tilt and rotate the camera body to achieve the desired fixed lens orientation. The pan and tilt functionality can then be used to cover the wider area.
- Power Connection: Ensure the camera is plugged into a power source after installation.
Operating Instruction
Access and control your WYZE Cam Pan v2 through the Wyze app.
- Rarama View: Open the Wyze app. Your camera's snapshot will appear. Tap on it to access the live stream.
- Kudzora Pan & Kutsvedza: Use the directional controls within the live view to manually pan (360°) and tilt (93°) the camera.
- Waypoints: Save specific camera positions as waypoints for quick navigation. The camera can move to these saved positions.
- Spotlights: Turn on/off the built-in spotlights for enhanced visibility or color night vision.
- Mbiri-Nzira Audio: Tap the microphone icon to initiate two-way communication.
- Mini-Siren: Activate the mini-siren from the app to deter unwanted visitors.
- Kutevera Kufamba: Enable/disable motion tracking. The camera will follow detected motion.
- Pan Scan (Patrol Mode): Configure the camera to cycle through saved waypoints at set intervals.
- Nguva-yapera: Utilize the time-lapse feature for capturing events over extended periods.
- Kurekodha Chiitiko: Access cloud-recorded events (requires Cam Plus subscription) or view recordings stored on the microSD card.

Customize detection settings for both the Pan Cam and Fixed Cam lenses independently.
- Detection Zone: Define specific areas for motion detection.
- Motion Tagkupenya: Highlight detected motion in the video feed.

- Motion Warning: Enable/disable audible warnings upon motion detection.

- Smart Detection Events (Cam Plus): Configure alerts for specific events like Person, Pet, Vehicle, Package, Baby Crying, Barking, Meowing, Talking, Glass Breaking, or Gunshot.
Maintenance
- Kuchenesa: Regularly wipe the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear image quality.
- Magetsi: Ensure the camera has a stable power supply.
- Kubatanidza Wi-Fi: Verify a strong 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal for optimal performance.
- Firmware Dzokorora: Keep the camera firmware updated through the Wyze app to benefit from new features and security enhancements.

- Motion Tracking Inaccuracies: The motion tracking feature may sometimes track non-essential movements (e.g., swaying plants). If this occurs, consider disabling motion tracking or adjusting the detection zone to exclude areas with frequent irrelevant motion.
- Waypoint Drifting: Saved waypoints may occasionally drift from their original positions. Calibrate the camera periodically through the app settings to correct this.
- Kuona Zvisina Kunaka Husiku: Ensure the camera lens is clean. Adjust spotlight brightness or night vision mode settings in the app.
