1. Nhanganyaya

The KMINA PRO Shower Chair with Wheels is designed to provide comfort, safety, and independence for individuals with limited mobility. This versatile chair can be used as a shower chair, a commode chair, or for assisted transport, simplifying daily hygiene and movement tasks for both users and caregivers.

Its robust aluminum construction ensures durability, while thoughtful features like adjustable components and an improved braking system enhance user experience and safety.

2. Safety Information

Upon opening the box, you will find the following main components:

• Main frame with seat and backrest

4. Setup uye Gungano

The KMINA PRO Shower Chair requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps:

1. Batanidza Armrests: Insert each armrest into the designated vertical tubes on the main frame. Adjust the height to one of the 6 available positions for optimal comfort and secure it with the provided knobs.
2. Insert the Horizontal Tube: Connect the two armrests using the horizontal tube. This tube can be adjusted in two angles (0°/45°) and two positions (68/75 cm) to fit various toilet sizes and user preferences. Secure it firmly.
3. Attach the Footrests: Slide the footrests into their respective slots on the front of the chair. They are removable and can be folded up when not in use.
4. Place the Commode Bucket: Position the commode bucket securely under the seat opening. Ensure it is properly seated before use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Multifunctional Use

The KMINA PRO Shower Chair is designed for various uses:

• Shower Chair: Use in the shower for personal hygiene. The aluminum frame is resistant to water.
• Commode Chair: Utilize the incorporated commode bucket for toileting needs.
• Over-the-Toilet Use: Position the chair directly over a standard WC. Ensure the toilet's width (measurement A) is less than or equal to 14.75 inches and height (measurement B) is less than or equal to 17 inches for proper fit.
• Transport Chair: The directional wheels allow for easy movement and transfer of the user.

5.2. Braking System

The chair features an improved braking system on all four wheels for maximum safety and grip. To engage the brake, press down on the red lever located on each wheel. To release, lift the lever up. Always ensure brakes are engaged when the chair is stationary or during transfers.

5.3. Kugadziridza

• Armrest Height: Adjust the armrests to one of the 6 available height settings by loosening the knob, sliding the armrest to the desired height, and re-tightening the knob.
• Tsoka The footrests can be removed or folded up to facilitate transfers or when not needed.

6. Kuchengeta

• Kuchenesa: Clean the chair regularly with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely to prevent water spots and corrosion. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Kuongorora: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and knobs to ensure they are tight. Inspect the wheels and brakes for smooth operation and wear.
• Kuchengeta: Store the chair in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight when not in use for extended periods.

• Difficulty Engaging Brakes: Ensure no debris is obstructing the brake mechanism. Check if the brake lever is fully depressed. If issues persist, inspect the wheel and brake for damage.
• Chair Does Not Roll Smoothly: Check wheels for hair, lint, or other obstructions. Ensure all wheels are properly aligned and not damaged.
• Kusagadzikana: Verify that all assembly components (armrests, horizontal tube) are securely tightened. Ensure the chair is on a flat, even surface.
