2. Safety Information

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Burner Types

Your Faber Remo 3BB BK gas stove features three burners:

  • 1 Jumbo Burner: For large utensils and faster cooking.
  • 1 Medium Burner: For standard cooking needs.
  • 1 Small Burner: Ideal for simmering and smaller pots.

4.2 Manual Ignition

  1. Ensure the gas supply is open.
  2. Push and turn the desired burner knob counter-clockwise to the 'ON' position.
  3. Immediately bring a lit matchstick or a gas lighter to the burner to ignite the flame.
  4. Once the flame is lit, adjust the knob to achieve the desired flame intensity.
  5. To turn off, rotate the knob clockwise to the 'OFF' position.

4.3 Flame Control

The control knobs allow you to adjust the flame size. Turn the knob towards the '+' symbol for a larger flame and towards the '-' symbol for a smaller flame. Always ensure the flame is stable and blue.

5.1 Cleaning the Glass Ceramic Cooktop

The cooktop features a toughened glass body for durability and easy cleaning.

  1. Remove the pan supports and burner caps/bases once they are cool.
  2. Wash them with warm soapy water. For stubborn food residue, soak them before scrubbing.
  3. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling to prevent corrosion and ensure proper ignition.
  4. The pan supports are powder-coated round type, which can be cleaned with a damp jira.
