3. Setup
Follow these steps to prepare your Sinocare Safe AQ Smart system for use:
- Isa Mabhatiri: Open the battery compartment on the back of the meter and insert the two AAA batteries provided, ensuring correct polarity.

- Insert a new sterile lancet firmly into the lancet holder.
- Twist off the protective cap of the lancet and save it for safe disposal.

4. Operating Instructions (Taking a Blood Glucose Test)
Perform the following steps to measure your blood glucose level:
- Wash and Dry Hands: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water, then dry them completely. This helps prevent infection and ensures an accurate reading.
- Prepare Finger: Use an alcohol swab to clean the fingertip you intend to prick. Allow the alcohol to air dry completely before proceeding.
- Tora Ropa Sample: Press the lancing device firmly against the prepared fingertip and press the release button. A small drop of blood will form.
- Isa Ropa Sample: Gently touch the tip of the test strip to the blood drop. The strip will automatically draw the blood into the reaction area. Do not smear the blood.
- Verenga Mhedzisiro: The meter will display your blood glucose result in 5 seconds.
- Rasa Zvinhu Zvakamboshandiswa: Eject the used lancet from the lancing device into a sharps container. Eject the used test strip from the meter into a waste bin.
