2. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your XPLORA X6 Play watch phone:
- Set up your SIM: The XPLORA X6 Play comes with a pre-installed Xplora Connect SIM card. Upon receiving your watch, select the desired subscription plan and await a confirmation email.
- Download the Xplora App: Install the official Xplora app on your smartphone.

The XPLORA X6 Play allows two-way communication with pre-approved contacts. To make a call, navigate to the 'Contacts' menu on the watch screen, select the desired contact, and tap the call icon. To answer an incoming call, tap the green answer icon. To decline, tap the red decline icon.

3.2. Mharidzo
Children can receive text messages, emojis, images, and voice messages from approved contacts. They can reply using pre-set messages, emojis, or voice messages. Full text input is not available on the watch.
3.3. Basa reSOS
In an emergency, the child can press and hold the SOS button (usually a side button) for a few seconds. This action will automatically notify the emergency contacts with the child's current location. The watch will also initiate calls to the emergency contacts until one is answered.
3.4. GPS Location & Safety Zones
The XPLORA X6 Play uses GPS and other location services to provide real-time tracking of the device's location, viewable through the parent's app. Parents can set up 'Safety Zones' around important locations like home or school. The app will send notifications when the watch enters or exits these defined zones.
