Remote Start/Stop

  • Remote Start: Press and hold the bottom button (key icon) on the side of the remote for three full seconds. The remote will chirp and display 'REMOTE START' or 'START' on the screen, confirming the command. The screen will then show the remaining run time.

Checking Vehicle Status

To check the current status of your vehicle (e.g., interior temperature, remaining remote start run time), tap the bottom button (key icon) on the side of the remote. The LCD screen will cycle through available status information.

Driving After Remote Start

Once your vehicle has been remote started:

  1. Unlock the vehicle using the remote or by opening the door.
  2. Enter the vehicle and insert your key into the ignition.
  3. Turn the key to the 'ON' or 'RUN' position (do not turn to 'START').
  4. Press the brake pedal. The remote start system will disengage, and the vehicle will transfer to key control.

If the brake pedal is pressed before the key is turned to the 'ON' position, the vehicle may shut off. Simply restart the vehicle with the key as normal.
