2. Battery Installation and Power On

The RC8X comes with a LiPo battery pre-installed. If you wish to use standard AA batteries, an optional battery tray is provided. To power on the transmitter, long-press the power button located on the front. The device will boot up and display the main interface.

3. Binding Receivers

To establish communication between the transmitter and receiver, follow these steps:

  1. Enter the Basic menu on the transmitter.
  2. Navigate to "Receiver setting".
  3. Select the corresponding protocol (FHSS V1 or FHSS V2) based on your receiver type. For R8FG, you can select either. For R7FG, R6FG, or other receivers, select "FHSS V1".
  4. Place the transmitter and receiver close to each other (approximately 60 cm).
  5. Turn on the receiver and press its bind button for more than 1 second, then release.

4. FPV Setup

The RC8X can function as an FPV display. You will need an FPV camera and an FPV receiver. The FPV camera requires a working voltage of DC 3-5.2V (1S battery). Connect the FPV receiver module to the transmitter's headphone jack and USB port. Then, navigate to the System menu, select "External input output", and set "Multimedia Mode" to "Video input". If the pop-up window is set to "Open", the FPV feed will appear on the screen.

Operating Instruction

1. Basic Controls and Menu Navigation

The RC8X features a 4.3-inch full-color touch screen for intuitive menu navigation. The main screen displays the status of all 8 channels, timers, and telemetry data. You can access various settings and customization options through the system menu, including language, theme, sound, battery, and more. The transmitter supports up to 200 model memories and external storage via an included 32GB SD card.

2. Mixing Control

The RC8X offers advanced mixing control capabilities, such as Dual ESC mixing for tracked vehicles. To set up mixing control:

  1. From the main menu, select "Mixing setting".

3. Cruise Control

To activate and adjust cruise control:

  1. From the main menu, go to "Racing menu".
  2. Select "Cruise control".
  3. Adjust the throttle rate using the "+" and "-" buttons on the screen, or by turning the "DL1" tune button.
  4. Assign the on/off switch to "PS1".
  5. Press "PS1" to turn cruise control on or off.

4. Handwheel Adjustment
