3. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps carefully to set up your power supply.
3.1. Kuisa Voltage Selection
WARNING: This is a critical step. Failure to select the correct voltage will damage the power supply and may pose a safety risk.
- Locate the red toggle switch on the side of the power supply, usually near the input terminals. This switch is labeled for 110V and 220V.
- The default setting is 220V. If your local mains voltage is 110V-120V, use a small screwdriver to carefully slide the switch to the 110V position. If your local mains voltage is 220V-240V, ensure the switch remains in the 220V position.

Use a small screwdriver to adjust the red toggle switch to match your local AC input voltage (110V kana 220V).
3.2. Wiring Instructions
Ensure the power supply is NOT connected to the AC mains during wiring.
- AC Input Connection: Connect your 3-prong AC power cord to the input terminals.
- Batanidza waya yeLive (L) kune 'L' terminal.
- Batanidza waya yeNeutral (N) kune 'N' terminal.
- Connect the Ground (⏚) wire to the ground terminal.
- Kubatanidza Kubuda kweDC: Connect your 5V DC device(s) to the output terminals.
- Connect the positive (+) wire of your device to the '+V' terminal.
- Connect the negative (-) wire of your device to the '-V' terminal.
- Ensure all screw terminals are tightened securely to prevent loose connections and potential hazards.

This image demonstrates how to connect the AC input, and the DC output to an LED controller and LED strip. Note the indicator light for power status.
3.3. Output Voltage Kugadzirisa
Zvinobuda voltage can be fine-tuned by ±10% (from 4.5V to 5.5V) using the 'ADJ' knob located near the DC output terminals. Use a small screwdriver to carefully turn this knob to achieve the desired output voltage yechikumbiro chako.
3.4. Mounting
The power supply features fixed screw holes for surface mounting. Ensure the mounting location allows for adequate ventilation to prevent overheating. Do not obstruct the heat dissipation holes.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Powering On / Off
Once all connections are secure and the input voltage is correctly selected, connect the power supply to the AC mains. An indicator light on the unit will illuminate, signifying that the unit is powered on. Disconnect from the AC mains to power off the unit.
4.2. Load Considerations
This 5V 10A 50W power supply is designed to deliver up to 50W of power. However, for optimal performance, extended lifespan, and to prevent overheating, it is recommended to operate the unit at no more than 80% of its full load capacity. For this 50W model, the recommended maximum continuous load is 40W.
4.3. Zvikumbiro
