4.1 Front Panel Controls

5. Setup

5.1 Simba Connection

1. Connect the power adapter to the DC input port on the rear of the radio.
2. Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet (230V AC).

5.2 Antenna

For optimal DAB and FM reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna.

5.3 Mounting Sarudzo

The LFF DAB Kitchen Radio offers flexible installation options:

5.3.1 Tabletop Kuiswa

Place the radio on a stable, flat surface using its integrated feet.

5.3.2 Under-Cabinet Installation

Use the provided mounting kit to install the radio under a kitchen cabinet.

1. Identify a suitable location under a cabinet, ensuring sufficient clearance.
2. Use the mounting template (if provided) or measure the screw hole distances (refer to Image 5.2 for guidance on dimensions).
3. Drill pilot holes into the underside of the cabinet.
4. Secure the mounting brackets (if separate) or the radio directly using the provided screws.
5. Ensure the radio is firmly attached and stable.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Simba On/Kudzima

Press the Simba/Modhi bhatani rekuvhura kana kudzima redhiyo.

6.2 Mode Sarudzo

Press the Simba/Modhi button repeatedly to cycle through available modes: DAB Radio, FM Radio, and Bluetooth.

6.3 Kushanda kweDhedhiyo yeDAB

1. Switch to DAB mode. The radio will automatically scan for available DAB stations upon first use.
2. Shandisa iyo Kumusoro/Kudzika Miseve to navigate through the list of available stations.
3. Press the Volume Knob/Enter kusarudza chiteshi.
4. Kuchengeta Presets: Dzvanya uye ubate imwe yeiyo Mabhatani Akagadziriswa (1-5) kusvika chiratidziro chasimbisa kuti chiteshi chachengetwa.

6.4 FM Radio Kushanda

1. Chinja kuFM modhi.
2. Auto Ongororo: Dzvanya uye ubate iyo Volume Knob/Enter to initiate an auto-scan for FM stations.

6.5 Kushanda kweBluetooth

1. Switch to Bluetooth mode. The radio will enter pairing mode, indicated on the display.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), search for available devices.
3. Select "LFF" from the list to pair.

6.6 Alarm Basa

1. Press the Nguva/Kurara button until "Sleep" appears.
2. Shandisa iyo Kumusoro/Kudzika Miseve kana kutenderera Vhoriyamu Knob to select the desired sleep duration (e.g., 15, 30, 45, 60 minutes).
3. Press Volume Knob/Enter to confirm. The radio will turn off after the selected time.
