3.1 Recommended Mounting Locations

1. Remove the mounting plate from the back of the detector by twisting it counter-clockwise.

4. Reattach the mounting plate by aligning it and twisting clockwise until it locks into place.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Normal Operation (Standby Mode)

In standby mode, the LCD screen will typically be blank to conserve battery power. The green power light will flash once every 60 seconds, indicating that the device is functioning normally.

4.2 Alarm and LED Indication

When smoke or carbon monoxide reaches its alarm sensitivity level, the detector will:

• Emit an audible alarm louder than 85 decibels.
• Flash the red LED indicator.
• The LCD display will show the real-time concentration of smoke or CO.

The alarm threshold is set to prevent false alarms. The alarm will only trigger when the concentration reaches the specified threshold (e.g., starting from 80 ppm for CO).

Press the 'TEST' button to verify the battery and alarm functionality. The device will emit a test alarm and display readings on the LCD.
