This manual provides essential information for the safe operation, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your SISIGAD Electric Scooter Model HY-B17. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use to ensure optimal performance and safety.
2. Safety Information
Your safety is paramount. The HY-B17 electric scooter is UL-2272 certified, ensuring it meets high safety standards. Always wear appropriate safety gear, including a helmet, when operating the scooter.
2.1 Key Safety Features
- Dual Braking System: Equipped with EABS anti-lock braking and DISC braking for responsive stopping power, reacting in 0.1 seconds.
- Automatic Lighting: Features auto-on headlights and brake-activated taillights for visibility, especially in low-light conditions.
- Anti-Slip Handlebar: Designed for secure grip and control.
2.2 Yambiro Yakakosha

4. Setup uye Gungano
The scooter comes largely pre-assembled. Only the handlebars require attachment.
4.1 Kupetunura sikuta
- Carefully remove the scooter from its packaging. It is well-protected with foam inserts.
- Lift the main stem of the scooter until it clicks into the upright position.
- Secure the stem by engaging the safety lock mechanism.
4.2 Attaching the Handlebars
- Gently feed the wiring from the handlebar assembly through the top of the main stem.
- Align the handlebar with the stem, ensuring the brake lever is on the left side and the acceleration control is on the right.
- Secure the handlebar to the stem using the provided screws and screwdriver. There are typically six screw points (two on each side, two in front).

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off uye Speed Modes
- To power on the scooter, press and hold the power button on the LCD display.
- To cycle through the three speed modes (Low, Medium, High), quickly press the power button once while the scooter is on.

- Set speed limits (Low/Med/High).
- Activate/deactivate cruise control.
- Turn automatic lights on/off.
- View real-time stats and track mileage.
- Lock/unlock the scooter for added security.

6.4 Kutasva Sikuta
The scooter features a powerful 500W peak motor, allowing speeds up to 19 mph and tackling 15% inclines.

- Braking: Use the brake lever on the left handlebar to engage the dual braking system.
- Matai: The 8.5" hybrid tires (air-filled front, honeycomb solid rear) provide comfort and puncture resistance across various terrains.

7. Kupeta uye Kutakurwa
The HY-B17 is designed for easy portability, folding in three simple steps in under 7 seconds.
