6.1 Wiring Diagram

Refer to the following wiring diagram for proper connection of the access control keypad to a power supply, electric lock, doorbell, and exit switch.

6.3 Kuiswa Kwenyama

  1. Nzvimbo yekukwirisa: Choose a suitable indoor location near the door, ensuring it is protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
  2. Secure Mounting: Use the provided screws and wall plugs to securely mount the keypad to the wall. Ensure the back panel is flush and stable.
  3. Wiring: Connect the keypad to your 12V DC power supply, electric lock, exit button, and external doorbell according to the wiring diagram in Section 6.1. Pay close attention to polarity and terminal labels (NC, NO, GND, 12V, BELL, OPEN, COM).
  4. Power On: Once all connections are secure, connect the 12V DC power supply. The indicator light on the keypad should illuminate.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 Default Settings

7.2 Programming Mode

  1. Press *.
  2. Enter the 6-digit programming password (default: 123456).
  3. Press #.
  4. The indicator light will change, indicating entry into programming mode.

7.3 Changing the Programming Password

  1. Enter programming mode (Section 7.2).
  2. Press 0.
  3. Enter the new 6-digit programming password.
  4. Press #.
  5. Re-enter the new 6-digit programming password.

  7. Buda programming mode.

7.4 Adding User Cards (Keyfobs)

  1. Enter programming mode (Section 7.2).
  2. Press 1.
  3. Present each RFID keyfob to the ID Card Area on the keypad. The keypad will beep to confirm each card is added.
  4. After adding all desired cards, press * to save and exit card adding mode.
  5. Buda programming mode.

7.5 Adding User Passwords

  1. Enter programming mode (Section 7.2).
  2. Press 2.
  3. Enter a 4-digit user ID (e.g., 0001).
  4. Press #.
  5. Enter a 4-digit to 6-digit user password.
  6. Press #.
  7. Repeat for additional user passwords.
  8. Press * to save and exit password adding mode.
  9. Buda programming mode.

7.6 Deleting User Cards/Passwords

To delete a single user card:

  1. Enter programming mode (Section 7.2).
  2. Press 3.
  3. Present the RFID keyfob to be deleted to the ID Card Area. The keypad will beep to confirm deletion.
  4. Press * kuchengetedza uye kubuda.
  5. Buda programming mode.

To delete a single user password:

  1. Enter programming mode (Section 7.2).
  2. Press 4.
  3. Enter the 4-digit user ID of the password to be deleted.
  4. Press #.
  5. Press * kuchengetedza uye kubuda.
  6. Buda programming mode.

To delete all user cards and passwords:

  1. Enter programming mode (Section 7.2).
  2. Press 5.
  3. Press # kusimbisa.
  4. Buda programming mode.

7.7 Accessing the Door

The M203 supports three access methods:

  1. Kuwana Kadhi: Present a registered RFID keyfob to the ID Card Area. The door will unlock briefly.
  2. Password Access: Enter your registered user password (4-6 digits) and press #. The door will unlock briefly.
  3. Card + Password Access: Present your registered RFID keyfob to the ID Card Area, then enter your registered user password and press #. The door will unlock briefly.

The default access mode is Card or Password. To change the access mode, refer to the advanced settings in the full manual (if available).

If an external doorbell is connected, pressing the Bell button on the keypad will activate the doorbell.
