4. Setup
4.1. Kutanga Setup
- Chaja iyo Remote: Connect the X1S remote to a power source using the provided USB charging cable.
- Isa Hub: Place the SofaBaton Hub in a central location within your entertainment area, ensuring it has a clear line of sight to your IR-controlled devices. If devices are in a cabinet, use the wired IR transmitters.
- Dhaunirodha App: Download the SofaBaton app from your smartphone's app store.
- Pair Remote and Hub: Follow the on-screen instructions in the SofaBaton app to pair your X1S remote with the Hub.

5.5. Lift to Wake Function
The remote features a motion-activated "Lift to Wake" function. When picked up, the remote automatically wakes from sleep mode, illuminating the screen and backlight for immediate use.
