Follow these steps to set up your Prechen secondary monitor:

  1. Kuburitsa: Carefully remove the monitor and all accessories from the packaging. Ensure all components listed in the product manual are present.
  2. Screen Protection Removal: Gently peel off any protective films from the screen surface.
  3. Kubatanidza Stand: The monitor comes with a detachable stand. Attach the stand securely to the back of the monitor using the designated clips or slots. The stand allows for flexible positioning of the monitor.

    • USB-C Connection (Full-Featured Type-C): If your device (laptop, smartphone) has a full-featured USB-C port that supports video signal, touch, and power delivery, you can connect the monitor using a single USB-C to USB-C cable.     • HDMI and USB-A Connection: If your device does not have a full-featured USB-C port, use an HDMI cable for video signal and a USB-A to USB-C cable for touch functionality and power.
    • Magetsi: For devices with higher power consumption (e.g., gaming devices), or if the monitor flickers or does not turn on, connect the original power adapter to the monitor to ensure sufficient power.

  • Touchscreen Basa: The monitor features an interactive 10-point multi-touch interface (via USB-C connection). This allows for intuitive control and navigation, enhancing efficiency for various tasks.
  • Vakavakwa-Vatauri: Dual surround stereo speakers are integrated, eliminating the need for external audio equipment.
  • Ratidza Modes: The monitor supports multiple display configurations:
    • Yakawedzerwa Nzira: Extends your desktop across both screens, providing more space for multitasking.

Maintenance

  2. Touch Function Not Working:
    • Ensure the USB-C cable (or USB-A to USB-C cable) is properly connected for touch data transmission.
    • Note that touch function is not supported on iOS and iPadOS devices. MacOS systems only support 2-point touch.
    • For Windows 11 (and other Windows versions), you may need to configure the touchscreen settings. Navigate to "Control Panel" > "Hardware and Sound" > "Tablet PC Settings" and select the portable monitor as the touchscreen device to ensure touch inputs are directed correctly.
    • If the USB-C port feels sensitive, ensure the cable is not bumped or moved excessively, as this can temporarily interrupt the touch function. Re-plugging the cable may resolve this.
  3. Image Quality Issues (Colors Off, Low Contrast):
    • Access the monitor's OSD menu to adjust brightness, contrast, and color settings to your preference.
    • Ensure your source device's display settings are optimized for the monitor's resolution (1920x720).
