Safety Information

- Bending Radius: Do not bend the strip beyond its minimum bending radius of 1.18 inches (3 cm) to prevent damage to the internal components.
- Temperature Range: The product is designed to operate within a temperature range of -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C).

Initial Test and Placement
- Unfold and Test: Unfold the entire light strip and plug it into a 120V power outlet to test its functionality immediately upon receiving. Ensure all LEDs illuminate correctly.
- Plan Placement: Determine the desired location for your LED strip. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or grease.

Cutting and Splicing (Optional)
The LED strip can be cut and reconnected to fit specific lengths. Note: DIY cutting and reconnecting may void the warranty if not performed correctly and waterproofed.
- Bvisa Simba: Always unplug the light strip from the power source before cutting.
- Kuyera uye Cheka: Measure the desired length. The strip has cutting marks every 3.9 inches (10 cm). Use sharp scissors or a utility knife to cut precisely along these marks.
- Gadzirira Kubatana: Peel off approximately one inch of the backing tape from both ends of the cut strip to expose the contact points.
- Insert into Connector: Insert the prepared ends of the strip into a clear plastic connector (not included, search ASIN B0C993CGMX or B0CQCSR2D9 for compatible connectors). Ensure the light strip is inserted in the correct direction for proper electrical contact.
- Secure Connection: Press the light strip firmly into the middle position of the buckle on the connector. Ensure the copper thorns inside the buckle pierce the light strip to establish a secure electrical connection. Repeat for the other side of the connection.
- Attach End Cap: If you are ending a section, attach an end cap to the cut end of the light strip. Secure all connections and end caps with silicone glue to ensure waterproofing.
- Muedzo: Plug in the light strip to test the connection and ensure it illuminates correctly.

Mounting the Light Strip
There are two primary methods for mounting the LED strip:
- Adhesive Backing: The strip features a self-adhesive white backing tape. Peel off the protective film and firmly press the strip onto the desired clean, dry, and smooth surface.
- Mounting Clips and Screws: For a more secure installation, especially on uneven surfaces or for outdoor use, utilize the provided mounting clips and screws. Space the clips evenly along the strip to provide adequate support.

Operating Instruction
The Shine Decor LED Strip Light is designed for simple plug-and-play operation.
- Batidza/Kudzima: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet to turn the light strip on. Unplug it to turn it off.
- Dimming (Sarudzo): This LED strip light is dimmable, but a dimmer is not included. For dimming functionality, you can purchase the Shine Decor universal dimmer kit (ASIN: B0C992QJWZ). When using a dimmer, the maximum running length may be shortened to 40 meters (131 feet).

Maintenance
- Kuchenesa: Ensure the light strip is unplugged before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the surface. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
