Important Note for Mac M1/M2/M3 Chip Users: If your laptop is a Mac with an M1, M2, or M3 chip, you will need to connect an H5-T cable to the "DP" port of the second screen, and then connect a USB cable to the "Type C" port of this screen for power.

Connection Sarudzo

The Maxfree S6 offers multiple connection methods depending on your laptop's available ports.

Option 1: Direct Full-Functionality Type-C Connection

Connect the screen extender directly to your laptop's full-functionality Type-C port using the provided USB-C to USB-C cables. This method typically provides both video and power through a single cable per screen.

Option 2: Non-Type-C Laptop with HDMI + Type-C Connection

For laptops without a full-functionality Type-C port, connect the screen extender using both HDMI and Type-C cables. You will need to connect one extra USB-A to USB-C cable to the same screen extender for power supply when using the HDMI cable.

Option 3: Resolving Connection Issues (No HDMI or Mac M1/M2/M3 Chips)

If you encounter connection issues, particularly with Mac M1/M2/M3 chips or if your laptop lacks an HDMI port, you may need an H5-T cable. For one screen, use a Type-C to Type-C cable to connect the monitor and the laptop. For the other screen, use the H5-T cable and a USB-A to Type-C cable to connect the monitor and the laptop.

Physical Setup

The Maxfree S6 features an upgraded magnetic structure for compact attachment and a wide kickstand for stability.

Attach the two detachable screens to the main unit.
Position the main unit securely on your laptop.
Extend the integrated kickstand to provide stable support and alleviate pressure on your laptop's hinge.

Display Modes and Rotation

The Maxfree S6 supports both extension and mirror modes, allowing for flexible workspace configurations. The two screens can rotate 235° horizontally and 90° vertically, enabling up to 11 display combinations including landscape, portrait, stacked, and single-screen modes.

Screen Controls and Ports

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Maxfree S6.

No Display / Black Screen

Tarisa Makabatana: Ensure all cables (USB-C, HDMI, USB-A) are securely connected to both the screen extender and your laptop.
