Cuff Sizing Guide
Using the correct cuff size is crucial for accurate blood pressure readings. The cuff should fit snugly but not too tightly around your arm. This product includes a Large Adult Cuff (34-50 cm).
To determine the correct cuff size, measure the circumference of your upper arm at the midpoint between your shoulder and elbow. Refer to the chart below:

Gadzirira
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all components from the carrying case.
- Batanidza Tubing: Ensure the tubing from the cuff is securely connected to the manometer and the inflation bulb.
- Gadzirira Kuyera: Sit in a comfortable position with your arm resting on a flat surface at heart level. Ensure your feet are flat on the floor and you are relaxed.
Operating Instruction
Follow these steps to accurately measure blood pressure:
- Shandisa Cuff: Wrap the cuff firmly around your bare upper arm, approximately 1 inch (2-3 cm) above the elbow. The artery mark on the cuff should be positioned over your brachial artery (on the inside of your arm). The bottom edge of the cuff should be above the elbow crease.
- Position the Manometer: Position the manometer so that you can easily read the dial.
- Close the Air Valve: Turn the screw on the air-release valve clockwise until it is fully closed.
- Furidzira Cuff: Rapidly inflate the cuff by squeezing the inflation bulb repeatedly until the manometer reads approximately 20-30 mmHg above your usual systolic pressure, or 180 mmHg if you do not know your usual pressure.
- Listen for Pulse (with stethoscope, not included): Place the diaphragm of a stethoscope over your brachial artery, just below the cuff.
- Release Air Slowly: Slowly open the air-release valve by turning it counter-clockwise, allowing the pressure to drop at a rate of 2-3 mmHg per second.
- Record Systolic Pressure: Note the reading on the manometer when you first hear the pulse sound (Korotkoff sounds). This is your systolic pressure.
- Record Diastolic Pressure: Continue to release air. Note the reading when the pulse sound disappears. This is your diastolic pressure.
- Deflate zvachose: Fully open the air-release valve to deflate the cuff completely.
- Remove Cuff: Remove the cuff from your arm.
For best results, take two or three readings, waiting a few minutes between each, and average the results.
