2. Safety Information
Observe the following safety guidelines to prevent damage to your watch and ensure safe operation:

3. Setup
3.1 Kuisa Nguva neDate
- Dhonza Korona: Gently pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch) out to position 2.
- Seta Zuva: Tenderedza korona uchitenderedza wachi kana kuti uchitenderedza wachi kuti ugadzirise zuva racho.
- Seta Zuva: Continue rotating the crown to adjust the day. Note that the day changes after midnight.
- Seta Nguva: Pull the crown out further to position 3. Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands to the correct time. Ensure you set the correct AM/PM by observing when the date changes.
- Sundidzira Korona Mukati: Once the time and date are set, push the crown back into position 1 (flush with the case) to start the watch and ensure water resistance.

3.2 Kugadzirisa Tambo
The watch features an 8-inch black two-piece quick-release strap. To adjust the fit:
- Locate the buckle and the series of holes on the strap.
- Insert the pin of the buckle into the hole that provides a comfortable and secure fit on your wrist.
- Ensure the strap is not too tight, which could restrict circulation, or too loose, which could cause the watch to move excessively.

4.1 Kuchengeta Nguva Kwenguva
Your Timex Legacy watch is a quartz movement timepiece designed for accurate timekeeping. Once the time and date are set, the watch will operate continuously until the battery requires replacement.
4.2 Gwaro Rekudzivirira Mvura
This watch is water resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, but not for diving or snorkeling. To maintain water resistance:

5.1 Kuchenesa
- Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth regularly to remove dust and smudges.
- For the stainless steel case, a slightly damp jira rinogona kushandiswa, rinoteverwa nemucheka wakaoma.
- For the leather strap, avoid excessive moisture. Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth and allow it to air dry completely. Do not use harsh chemicals.
