4.1 Front Panel Zvimiro

4.2 Rear Panel Zvimiro

  • Input Power Cord: Connects the UPS to the wall outlet.
  • Nzvimbo Dzekuchengetedza Bhatiri & Nzvimbo Dzekubuda Dzinodzivirirwa: Eight Schuko CEE 7/3 outlets that provide battery power during outages and surge protection.

5. Setup

5.1 Kuiswa

Place the UPS in a location that meets the following conditions:

  • Away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and flammable materials.
  • On a flat, stable surface.
  • With adequate airflow around the unit.

5.2 Initial Battery Connection and Charging

  1. Ensure the UPS is turned off and disconnected from the wall outlet.
  2. Connect the internal battery. Refer to the battery compartment instructions if applicable (for this model, the battery is typically pre-connected and internal).
  3. Plug the UPS power cord directly into a grounded 230V wall outlet.
  4. Allow the UPS to charge for at least 24 hours before connecting any equipment to ensure full battery capacity. The unit will charge whether it is turned on or off.

Connect your electronic devices to the outlets on the UPS. All 8 Schuko outlets provide both battery backup and surge protection.

6.1 Kubatidza/Kudzima UPS

  • Kubatidza: Press and hold the power button until you hear a short beep. The status indicators will illuminate.
  • Kudzima: Press and hold the power button until you hear a long beep. The status indicators will turn off.

The LEDs on the front panel provide information about the UPS status:

  • Online/On Battery: Indicates whether the UPS is operating on utility power or battery power.
