5. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your avedio links 8K HDMI 2.1 Audio Extractor:

• 5.1: For 5.1 channel surround sound systems, compatible with Optical and Coaxial outputs.
• 7.1: For 7.1 channel surround sound systems, primarily used with the HDMI Audio Only output.

6.2 EDID Functionality

The device incorporates EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) functionality to ensure optimal compatibility between your source and display devices, automatically adjusting resolution and audio settings for the best possible experience.
