4. Setup uye Gungano
Follow these steps to assemble your AQQA Aquarium Gravel Cleaner:
- Connect the water pump to the main extension pipe.
- Insert the power cord through the extension pipes.
- Attach the anti-slip handle to the top extension pipe.
- Connect the extension pipes together, ensuring the power cord passes through.
- Secure the connections with the green locking rings.
- Connect the power adapter to the switch, and then connect the switch to the cleaner's power input.
- Attach the desired cleaning head (Sand-washing Head, Corner Anti-sand Head, Widen Suction Head, or Cleaning Brush) to the bottom of the water pump.
- For water filtration or circulation, attach the filter cup to the side outlet of the water pump.
- Attach the 2m bellows (hose) to the filter cup outlet for water changing or adding.
- Use the pipe holder to secure the cleaner to the aquarium rim if needed.

5. Operating Instructions
Ensure the pump is fully submerged when operating. Connect the power adapter and turn on the device. Adjust the flow rate using the in-line rotary controller.
5.1 Sand Washing / Gravel Cleaning
Batanidza iyo Sand-washing Head for cleaning gravel or the Corner Anti-sand Head for reaching tight corners. Gently move the head through the substrate. The strong suction will lift debris while allowing the heavier sand/gravel to fall back down, effectively cleaning the tank bottom.

5.2 Water Changing / Adding Water
For water changes, attach the Suction Base to the pump and the 2m bellows (hose) to the outlet. Place the pump in the aquarium and the other end of the hose into a bucket. The pump will efficiently transfer water out of the tank. To add water, reverse the process, ensuring the water source is clean and treated.

5.3 Debris Cleaning / Tank Scrubbing
Shandisa iyo Widen Suction Head to efficiently remove larger debris from the tank bottom. For scrubbing algae or stubborn dirt from tank walls, attach the Kuchenesa Brush.

5.4 Water Filtration / Circulation
Batanidza iyo Sefa Cup to the side outlet of the water pump. The biochemical filter cotton inside will capture impurities, fish waste, and food residues, helping to maintain water quality and promote circulation within the tank. This mode can also be used to provide a gentle shower for turtles.

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your AQQA Gravel Cleaner, regular maintenance is essential:
- Kuchenesa Mushure meKushandisa Kwese: After each use, disassemble the pump and cleaning heads. Rinse all components thoroughly with clean water to remove any trapped debris, algae, or waste.
- Filter Cup Maintenance: Regularly clean or replace the biochemical filter cotton in the filter cup to maintain effective filtration.
- Ongorora Zvivharo: Periodically check the pump impeller and suction inlets for any blockages that might reduce suction power.
- Kuchengeta: Store the cleaner in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.

If you encounter issues with your AQQA Gravel Cleaner, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Dambudziko: The cleaner is not turning on or has weak suction.
Solution:- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the cleaner and a working power outlet.
- Verify that the in-line switch is turned on and the flow rate is adjusted to a suitable level (try increasing it).
- Check if the pump is fully submerged in water. The pump must be submerged to operate correctly.
- Inspect the pump impeller and all attachments for any blockages (e.g., large debris, gravel, or plant matter). Clean thoroughly if blockages are found.
- Ensure all connections between pipes and heads are secure and airtight.
- Dambudziko: Water is not flowing or is flowing slowly during water changes.
Solution:- Check for kinks or blockages in the 2m bellows (hose).
- Ensure the pump is operating at a high enough flow rate. Adjust the rotary controller.
- Verify that the outlet end of the hose is lower than the water level in the aquarium to facilitate siphoning.
- Dambudziko: Sand or fine gravel is being sucked up during cleaning.
Solution:- Reduce the flow rate using the adjustable rotary controller.
- Lift the cleaning head slightly above the substrate to allow heavier particles to settle.
- Ensure the filter cotton in the sand-washing head is properly installed to prevent fine particles from passing through.
