5. Operating Instructions

The BT138 is designed for one-step instant testing. Follow these steps to test your batteries:

5.1. Testing Cylindrical Batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, N, 1.5V/3.7V Lithium)

1. Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of the battery.
2. Connect the positive electrode of the BT138 (marked with '+') to the positive terminal of the battery.
3. Connect the negative electrode of the BT138 (marked with '-') to the negative terminal of the battery.
4. The LCD screen will immediately display the battery's voltage.

5.2. Testing 9V Batteries (6F22)

1. Locate the dedicated 9V battery detection terminals on the BT138. These are typically marked for 9V battery detection.
2. Align the positive and negative terminals of the 9V battery with the corresponding terminals on the tester. The tester may use magnetic attraction for secure connection.
3. The LCD screen will display the 9V battery's voltage.

5.3. Testing Button Batteries (CR2032, LR44, L736)

1. Place the button battery onto the designated contact points for button cells, ensuring correct polarity.
2. The LCD screen will display the button battery's voltage.

5.4. Interpreting Readings

• The LCD display shows the exact voltage.
• Generally, a higher voltage indicates a healthier battery.
