This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your KIMO 8-Inch Cordless Mini Chainsaw. Please read and understand all instructions before use to prevent injury and ensure optimal performance of the tool.

3. Yakakosha Mirayiridzo Yekuchengetedza

3.1 General Chengetedzo
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and sturdy footwear.

- Anti-Splash Baffle: An adjustable baffle helps deflect debris away from the operator. Ensure it is properly positioned before use.
- Hand Guard: The wide hand guard protects knuckles from the chain.
- Kickback Kudzivirira: Be aware of kickback. Avoid cutting with the tip of the guide bar. Always maintain a balanced stance.
- Automatic Oiling System: Ensure the oil tank is filled before each use to maintain proper chain lubrication and prevent overheating.

4. Setup uye Gungano
The KIMO 8-Inch Cordless Mini Chainsaw is designed for quick and tool-free assembly. Follow these steps to prepare your chainsaw for use.
4.1 Kuchaja Bhatiri
- Connect the fast charger to a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will show its status.
- Insert the 4.0Ah battery into the charger. The indicator light will turn red, signifying charging is in progress.
- Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn green. Disconnect the battery from the charger.

4.2 Kuiswa kweChain neGwara reKutungamira
- Ensure the battery is removed from the chainsaw before assembly.
- Unscrew the chain replacement knob counter-clockwise to loosen the cover and remove it.
- Carefully place the saw chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting teeth are facing the correct direction (away from the motor).
- Fit the guide bar and chain onto the chainsaw body, aligning the chain with the drive sprocket.
- Replace the cover and tighten the chain replacement knob clockwise until the chain is snug but can still be moved by hand.

4.3 Filling the Oil Tank
- Locate the oil tank cap on the chainsaw body.
- Open the cap and use a funnel to pour appropriate chain oil into the tank. The tank capacity is 32ml.
- Close the cap securely. The automatic oiling system will lubricate the chain during operation.

5. Operating Instructions
Before operating, ensure all safety checks are complete and you are wearing appropriate PPE.
5.1 Kutanga Chainsaw
- Insert a fully charged battery into the chainsaw until it clicks into place.
- Grip the chainsaw firmly with both hands.
- Press the lock-off button (safety switch) with one hand, then squeeze the trigger with the other hand to start the chainsaw. Release the lock-off button once the chainsaw is running.
5.2 Kucheka Maitiro
- Always maintain a stable and balanced stance.
- Allow the chainsaw to reach full speed before engaging the material.
- Apply light, consistent pressure. Let the saw do the work.
- For branches, cut from the top down to avoid pinching the blade. For larger logs, make a relief cut on the underside first.
- Avoid cutting into the ground, as this can dull the chain quickly.

6. Kuchengeta

6.1 Kutarisira Cheni
- Kurodza: The 8660 alloy steel chain is designed for durability. Sharpen the chain regularly with a suitable file to maintain cutting efficiency.
- Tensioning: Check chain tension frequently. A properly tensioned chain should be snug against the guide bar but still allow you to pull it around by hand. Adjust using the tool-free knob.
- Kutsiva: Replace the chain when it becomes dull beyond sharpening or shows signs of damage.
6.2 Kuchenesa nekuchengetedza
- After each use, remove the battery and clean the chainsaw. Use a brush to remove sawdust and debris from the guide bar, chain, and motor vents.
