Product Overview

The EKO Phantom Pro Sensor Bin features an innovative dual-wing lid design that opens from the center, minimizing the height required for operation. This makes it ideal for placement in narrow spaces such as under washstands, in toilet corners, or beside desks. It is a 20-liter capacity, sensor-activated, and USB rechargeable unit, designed for convenience and hygiene.

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all packing materials are removed from inside and around the bin. Check for any damage during transit.

Before first use, fully charge the sensor bin. Locate the USB charging port, usually on the back or side of the lid. Connect the provided USB cable to the bin and to a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged). Place the bin on a flat, stable surface. Due to its dual-wing lid design, it can be placed in areas with limited overhead clearance. Ensure there is enough space for the lid to open without obstruction.

4. Inserting a Trash Bag:

Lift the sensor lid assembly. Place a compatible trash bag (EKO D-type recommended) into the main body of the bin. Ensure the bag's rim is securely tucked around the top edge of the bin to prevent it from slipping. Lower the sensor lid assembly back into place.

Operating Instruction

1. Kubatidza/Kudzima:

Locate the power switch, typically on the back or side of the lid assembly. Slide the switch to the "ON" position to activate the sensor. To turn off the bin, slide the switch to the "OFF" position.

2. Sensor Operation:

Once powered on, the sensor is active. Wave your hand or an object within 10-20 cm (4-8 inches) above the sensor area on the lid. The dual-wing lid will open automatically. The lid will remain open for approximately 5 seconds, then close automatically. If your hand or object remains in the sensor area, the lid will stay open until it is removed.

3. Manual Open/Close:

For extended opening, some models may feature a manual open/close button. Pressing this button will keep the lid open until pressed again. Refer to your specific model for this feature.

4. Recharging:

When the battery is low, the indicator light may flash or change color. Connect the USB cable to the charging port and a power source. The bin can typically be used while charging, but optimal performance is achieved with a full charge.

Maintenance

Wipe the exterior of the bin with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which can damage the finish. Ensure the sensor area is kept clean and free of dust or debris for optimal performance.

2. Cleaning the Interior:

If the interior of the bin becomes soiled, remove the trash bag and wipe the inside with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before inserting a new trash bag.

3. Battery Care:

To prolong battery life, avoid completely draining the battery frequently. Recharge the bin when the low battery indicator appears. If storing the bin for an extended period, ensure it is fully charged before storage and recharge periodically.

4. Trash Bag Replacement:

When the trash bag is full, lift the sensor lid assembly, remove the full bag, and replace it with a new EKO D-type compatible trash bag. Secure the new bag and replace the lid.
