2. Safety Information
Always read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating the generator. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or death.
- Carbon Monoxide (CO) Alert: This generator is equipped with CO Alert technology. If carbon monoxide levels become unsafe, the generator will automatically shut down. Always operate the generator outdoors in a well-ventilated area, far from windows, doors, and vents.
- Kuchengetedzwa Kwemafuta: Gasoline is highly flammable. Store fuel in approved containers in a well-ventilated area. Propane tanks must be securely connected and free of leaks.
- Kuchengetedzwa Kwemagetsi: Ensure all electrical connections are secure and properly grounded. Do not operate in wet conditions.

3. Kutanga (Setup)
3.1 Kusunungura uye Gungano
Carefully remove the generator from its packaging. The unit includes a wheel and handle kit, an oil funnel, a spark plug wrench, and a tool set for assembly. Attach the wheels and handles as per the detailed instructions in the owner's manual to facilitate portability.

3.2 Kuwedzera Injini Mafuta
Before first use, add the recommended engine oil (not included) to the crankcase using the provided oil funnel. Refer to the owner's manual for the correct oil type and capacity. The generator is equipped with a low oil shutdown feature to protect the engine.
3.3 Connecting Battery
Connect the battery terminals as instructed in the owner's manual. The generator features an electric start, which requires a connected and charged battery.
3.4 Fuel Selection and Connection
The XP13000EH operates on either gasoline or propane. Select your desired fuel type using the fuel switch on the control panel.
- peturu: Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. The tank has an 8.3-gallon capacity. Always use a fuel stabilizer if storing gasoline for extended periods.
- Propane: Connect a propane tank (not included) to the propane inlet on the control panel using the appropriate hose and regulator. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.

4. Kushanda
4.1 Pre-Start Checklist
- Ensure the generator is on a level surface.

- Confirm all circuit breakers are in the OFF position before starting.
- Ensure the battery switch is ON for electric start.
4.2 Kutanga Injini
The XP13000EH offers both electric and manual pull start options.
- Kutanga Kwemagetsi: Turn the battery switch to ON. Select the desired fuel type (Gas or Propane) using the fuel switch. Press and hold the 'Engine Start/Stop' button until the engine starts.
- Manual Pull Start: Ensure the battery switch is OFF. Select the desired fuel type. Firmly pull the recoil starter handle until the engine starts.
4.3 Kubatanidza Mitoro Yemagetsi
Once the engine is running smoothly, you can connect your electrical devices. The control panel features a variety of outlets:
- AC 120V 30A
- AC 120V 20A GFCI (2 outlets)
- AC 120/240V 30A
- AC 120/240V 50A (Transfer Switch Ready)
- DC 12V 8A
Engage the circuit breakers for the outlets you intend to use. Always connect devices one at a time to avoid overloading the generator.

4.4 Kuongorora
The integrated multi-meter displays Voltage, Hertz, and Hours Run, allowing you to monitor the generator's performance.
4.5 Kumisa Injini
Before stopping, disconnect all electrical loads. Press the 'Engine Start/Stop' button to turn off the engine. If using gasoline, turn the fuel valve to the OFF position and allow the engine to run until it shuts off to clear the carburetor for storage.
5. Kuchengeta
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and reliable operation of your generator. Refer to the owner's manual for a detailed maintenance schedule.
- Kuchinja Oiri: Change engine oil at recommended intervals.
- Mhepo Sefa: Inspect and clean/replace the air filter regularly.
- Dzomoto Plug: Inspect and replace the spark plug as needed.
- Fuel System: For gasoline, use a fuel stabilizer during storage. For propane, ensure the tank is disconnected and stored safely.
