2. Safety Information

- Generators produce carbon monoxide (CO), an odorless, colorless, and poisonous gas.
- Always operate the generator outdoors in a well-ventilated area, far away from windows, doors, and vents.
- Never operate the generator inside a home, garage, basement, crawlspace, or any other enclosed or partially enclosed area.
- The XP13000HXT is equipped with a CO Alert system that automatically shuts off the generator if dangerous levels of carbon monoxide are detected. However, this system is a backup and proper ventilation is paramount.
Fuel Handling Safety
- Gasoline is highly flammable. Always refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool.
- Propane and Natural Gas are also flammable. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free before starting.
- Store fuels in approved containers away from ignition sources.

4. Setup
4.1 Gungano
- Attach the wheel kit to the generator frame using the provided hardware.
- Install the handle kit for easy maneuverability.
4.2 Kuwedzera Injini Mafuta
The generator is shipped without engine oil. Before first use, add the appropriate amount of 10W-30 SAE motor oil. Refer to the owner's manual for exact capacity and filling instructions.
4.3 Connecting Fuel
The XP13000HXT offers three fuel options: Gasoline, Propane, and Natural Gas.
- peturu: Fill the fuel tank (8.3 Gallons capacity) with fresh, unleaded gasoline.
- Propane: Connect the provided propane regulator and hose to a propane tank and the generator's propane inlet.
- Gasi Rakasikwa: Connect the 15-foot x 3/4-inch natural gas hose to a natural gas supply line and the generator's natural gas inlet.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Kusarudzwa kwemafuta
Use the fuel selector switch on the control panel to choose your desired fuel type (Gasoline, Propane, or Natural Gas). Ensure the correct fuel is connected and the selector is set before starting.
5.2 Maitiro Ekutanga
- Push Bhatani Kutanga: Ensure the fuel selector is set, then press and hold the Engine Start/Stop button until the engine starts.
- Remote Start: Use the provided remote control to start or stop the generator from a distance.
5.3 Kubatanidza Zvishandiso
The generator features a variety of outlets to power your devices:
- AC 120V 30A Outlets
- AC 120/240V 30A Outlets
- AC 120/240V 50A Outlet (Transfer Switch Ready)
- 120V Household Outlets
Always ensure that the total load does not exceed the generator's running wattage for your selected fuel type. Use appropriate extension cords and ensure all connections are secure.

5.4 CO Alert System
The integrated CO Alert system monitors carbon monoxide levels. If unsafe levels are detected, the generator will automatically shut down to prevent injury or death. Always ensure proper ventilation even with this safety feature.
